Chair of FICD Debbie Robinson CEO of Central Coop

Debbie is a seasoned leader in the co-operative sector, currently serving as the CEO of Central Co-op in the UK. With over 30 years of experience in retail, including roles at Co-op Group, Marks & Spencer, and SPAR UK, Debbie has a wealth of knowledge in strategic management and community engagement. As Vice President of EuroCoop Debbie is passionate about co-operative values and has been instrumental in driving initiatives that prioritize people over profit. Debbie also sits on the boards of the Association of Convenience Stores and the British Retail Consortium.

Pete has dedicated over 30 years to promoting co-operative principles at The MidCounties Co-operative in the UK. As Chief Values Officer, he oversees the Society’s Social Responsibility agenda and ensures that co-operative values are at the heart of all operations. Pete has been recognized as Cooperator of the Year for his contributions to the co-operative movement, particularly in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and is currently the Chair of Bright Futures Co-op.

Paul Gerrard Director Coop Group Exec

Paul Gerrard joined the Co-operative Group in 2016 after a distinguished career in the UK Civil Service. As Campaigns and Public Affairs Director, he leads the Group’s engagement with government and drives campaigns on social issues such as modern slavery and loneliness. Paul’s work has significantly raised awareness and influenced policy on these critical matters.

Todor has been the Secretary General of Euro Coop since 2014, representing 19 national consumer co-operative organizations across Europe. He also serves as Secretary General of Consumer Cooperatives Worldwide (CCW). Todor has demonstrated a strong commitment to advocating for consumer cooperatives and promoting sustainable development, ethical business practices, and consumer rights across Europe.

Director Todor Ivanov

Blase has been a leading figure in the UK co-operative housing sector for over 25 years. As Chief Executive of CCH, he has championed corporate governance, risk management, and financial control within the co-operative housing community. Blase is a Board member of the International Cooperative Alliance, a founder member of Community Led Homes and serves as the Treasurer of Cooperative Housing International.
