Debbie is a seasoned leader in the co-operative sector, currently serving as the CEO of OurCoop in the UK. With over 30 years of experience in retail, including roles at Co-op Group, Marks & Spencer, and SPAR UK, Debbie has a wealth of knowledge in strategic management and community engagement. As President of EuroCoop Debbie is passionate about co-operative values and has been instrumental in driving initiatives that prioritize people over profit. Debbie also sits on the boards of the Association of Convenience Stores and the British Retail Consortium.
Director: Danilo Salerno
Danilo Salerno is Regional Director of Cooperatives of the Americas, the regional office of the International Co-operative Alliance. He has extensive experience in co-operative development, international cooperation, and the solidarity economy, having worked across Europe, Latin America, and global co-operative networks. Previously, he served as Director of Coopermondo, supporting international co-operative projects in more than 40 countries. Danilo holds qualifications in Political Science, Non-Profit Management, European Project Management, International Relations, and Latin American Studies.
Director: Blase Lambert
Blase has been a leading figure in the UK co-operative housing sector for over 25 years. As Chief Executive of CCH, he has championed corporate governance, risk management, and financial control within the co-operative housing community. Blase is a Board member of the International Cooperative Alliance, a founder member of Community Led Homes and serves as the Treasurer of Cooperative Housing International.
Director: Noel Raboy
Noel D. Raboy is President and CEO of CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative, the leading insurance cooperative in the Philippines. He has over 20 years of experience in the cooperative sector and is a strong advocate for cooperative values, financial inclusion, and social progress.
He also works as a climate advocate and social protection specialist, promoting renewable energy, climate resilience, and sustainable solutions for communities and MSMEs. In addition, he serves as a founding trustee and board leader in several cooperative and financial institutions, supporting the growth of the cooperative movement in the Philippines.
Director: Paul Gerrard
Paul Gerrard joined the Co-operative Group in 2016 after a distinguished career in the UK Civil Service. As Campaigns and Public Affairs Director, he leads the Group’s engagement with government and drives campaigns on social issues such as modern slavery and loneliness. Paul’s work has significantly raised awareness and influenced policy on these critical matters.
Director: Todor Ivanov
Todor Ivanov is Vice-President of the Central Cooperative Union–Bulgaria and Director of Consumer Co-operatives Worldwide (CCW). Between 2014 and 2025, he served as Secretary-General of Euro Coop, representing 20 national consumer co-operatives active mainly in food retail. Throughout his career, Todor has led international relations, advocacy, and collaboration across the global co-operative movement. He holds degrees in International Relations and European Public Administration, and a PhD in the Organisation and Management of Consumer Co-operatives.
